PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Has Sold Over 8 Million Copies
Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is one of the most talked-about games right now, and some new statistics speak to just how enormously popular the Hunger Games-like shooter is.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is proving to be a smash hit for the developer Bluehole who have recently announced at the Xbox One Gamescom Livestream that their game has now sold more than 8 million copies on Steam.
They also revealed the concurrent number of players for Player Unknown’s Battleground and it has managed to inch closer to 700k users on PC alone. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and it is also set to launch as an Xbox One Console Exclusive in late 2017. There was no release date given for it at the Xbox One Gamescom Livestream.
